Statement from Kendall Dilling, President, Pathways Alliance, in response to the Federal Government’s major projects list.

“We are pleased the federal government is advancing its first set of projects of national importance noting their significance in building a more economically secure Canada. We are encouraged the federal government has recognized the importance of our proposed foundational carbon capture and storage project, and that future oil pipelines to international markets will help build Canada into an energy superpower.

“To build Canada’s economic and energy future, we encourage the federal government to continue to work together with industry and other levels of government to advance supportive policies which remove barriers to investment.

“Pathways Alliance is committed to continuing to work with governments to realize our shared priorities and advancing work on our foundational CCS project.”
